ECO LABEL Labeled Products Exhibited

The products that have been given the ECO LABEL environmental label until today have been exhibited in the halls of our organization for a month and introduced to interested manufacturers and consumers.

It has been announced that this event, which has greatly contributed to both the promotion of the eco label concept and the gathering of companies producing similar products, will be repeated every year from now on.

Other products and services produced in our country were also exhibited in this event and the possibilities of different eco-label programs to act together were discussed.

During this exhibition, our organization hosted a series of workshops and presentation programs by experts, manufacturers, consumer associations and individual consumers on responsible purchasing, consumption habits and small efforts to be made every day to look at the environment differently.

The two main issues emphasized in the presentations were as follows:

• The importance of informing consumers in their purchasing decision processes in order to turn towards correct, high quality and reliable products. With the increasing number of eco-labeling programs, the opportunity for consumers to make an accurate comparison is getting smaller. Eco label programs in this respectIt is extremely important that it be clear, understandable and transparent.
• The importance of manufacturing companies taking into account the entire life cycle in the production of products and services. It is necessary to consider the entire life cycle of a product, starting from raw material procurement to production, packaging, consumption and even waste.

In the meantime, in the current COVID-19 period, all kinds of public health measures have been taken and the relevant legal regulations have been complied with.
